Named after the Scottish home of the Royal Family, Balmoral is a classically styled ship exuding a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and a warming, home-from-home feel. Capable of carrying up to 1,350 guests in pure comfort, Balmoral is the newest and largest ship in the Fred. Olsen fleet but never feels overcrowded, ensuring those on board always enjoy ample space and receive Fred.’s renowned personal, attentive service. But despite being the largest in the Fred. Olsen fleet, Balmoral is still small enough to take you through the scenic and winding Fjords of Norway, as well as being able to sail down size restricted European waterways such as the Kiel Canal, ensuring guests on board will benefit from Fred. Olsen's smaller ship experience. A range of dining options are available on Balmoral, with mouth-watering menus to suit all tastes on offer in the elegant restaurants; and the fantastic selection of bars and lounges are perfect for enjoying a pre-dinner drink, sumptuous afternoon tea and superb entertainment. The Marquee Bar has its very own evening Gin Menu, including a variety of premium gins; while the Observatory Lounge offers spectacular panoramic views from the bow of the ship and a glass dance floor designed for late-night entertainment. The broad spiral staircase at the heart of the ship is one of Balmoral's key features, as is the stunning walkway towards the beautiful Ballindalloch Restaurant, where you can admire photographs and paintings from Fred.’s private collection. There’s also a comfy pub with occasional live music or comedy, cabaret and shows in the Neptune Lounge, and the serene Atlantis Spa, where guests can treat themselves to a range of treatments from manicures to massages – the perfect holiday indulgence. Balmoral also features two swimming pools and bubbling Jacuzzis, ideal for keeping fit and for relaxing in the sunshine.

Each ship, hand finished in brass and teak by traditional craftsmen are in themselves objects of great beauty. The secret of our success is that on our ships, whilst luxury and comfort are discreetly present, it is the colonial character and friendly atmosphere that predominate. All our Pandaws have ultra shallow drafts and can travel to remote areas, which would be unreachable by other vessels, let alone overland.

We’re delighted to introduce you to Brabant, Fred. Olsen’s first-ever dedicated river cruising boat. Built in 2006, this elegant and comfortable vessel is in keeping with the fleet of our ocean-going cruise ships. Brabant’s bright and spacious public areas and 79 well-equipped rooms and suites, spread across four decks, provide the intimate, home-from-home feel which Fred. Olsen’s guests already know and love. Cruise ship staples such as swimming pools, a number of lounges and on-going activities are not in evidence on board, making way for a comfortable ambience and ample space in which to relax and enjoy the river cruise experience with around 150 fellow guests. Smaller-sized and classically designed, Brabant lends herself perfectly to Fred. Olsen's approach to cruising. Making the most of the boat's size advantage, we can expertly craft simply unforgettable river cruise itineraries which do not only feature some of Europe's most breathtaking river scenery and cities, but also include chances to enjoy journeys along spellbinding, size-restricted sections of rivers and calls into stunning destinations that larger boats can't access. No matter which incredible Fred. Olsen river cruise you choose you’re in for a very special experience aboard Brabant.
Braemar's large windows illuminate the ship's interiors with natural light and provide spectacular views; while polished wooden fixtures, shining brass fittings, decadent fabrics and carefully designed decor assume the feel of a traditional country house hotel. Capable of comfortably accommodating up to 929 guests, Braemar has a unique, intimate feel with friendly staff offering a fantastic level of personal service. Catering to your every want and need, they will learn your name and your favourite tipple, how you prefer your steak and perfectly prepare your breakfast every morning. Perfectly built for warm weather cruising, Braemar's cascading stern and large deck area provides ample space within which to relax and enjoy the sunshine. And owing to her shallow draft, Braemar is able to sail down shallow and meandering rivers and waterways and get closer to the hearts of cities that larger cruise ships simply cannot reach. On board Braemar you’ll find a superb selection of restaurants, bars and lounges offering sumptuous cuisine, a wide range of beers, wines and spirits and fantastic entertainment. Enjoy a delicious buffet-style lunch at the Palms Café and a expertly prepared, five-course a la carte dinner at the Thistle and Grampian Restaurants; refresh at the Marquee poolside bar in the sunshine; or perhaps enjoy cosy drink in the familiar surroundings of Morning Light Pub. Traditional afternoon tea in the Observatory Lounge is not-to-be-missed, and be sure to take in a show in the Neptune Lounge. One of the focal points on Braemar is a beautifully painted, five-deck high Atrium which leads to the fully-equipped Fitness Centre, Palms Café, Coral Club and the Thistle Restaurant; while the cascading decks at the stern enhance the ship’s elegant profile and offer stunning vistas no matter which outside deck you’re on.

Arriving in spring 2015, Britannia will represent the very best of the best! The largest ship built exclusively for Britain, she will combine signature P&O Cruises features with the very latest innovations in dining, entertainment and modern design. ‘Britannia’ has a historical resonance for P&O Cruises, as two previous ships connected to the company have held this prestigious name. The first entered service in 1835 for the General Steam Navigation Company (which later became The Peninsular Steam Navigation Company) whilst the second entered service in 1887 to mark the Golden Jubilee of both Queen Victoria and P&O itself. Arriving in spring 2015, Britannia will represent the very best of the best! The largest cruise ship built exclusively for Britain, she will combine signature P&O Cruises features with the very latest innovations in dining, entertainment and modern design. Britannia will embrace a bold new 94 metre Union Flag on her bow displaying the longest version of the Flag anywhere in the world. The new style represents a contemporary approach to cruising which looks to the future, whilst celebrating the past. The new imagery on the bow will be sympathetic to Britannia’s sweeping lines and enhance her presence across the world in port and at sea. Her other distinctive features include blue funnels carrying an illuminated rising sun motif which depicts the Oriental part of the Peninsular and Oriental (P&O) name on the company’s Coat of Arms.

Our BVI catamaran is one of the smallest vessels in our worldwide fleet, but it’s anything but cramped. We keep our group sizes small so everyone has enough room to move about and bond together. A handsome 12m (40 ft) of double-hulled swiftness, our catamaran handles just like a yacht in case you decide to take a turn at the helm. There’s only room for eight on board, which means a higher incredibleness-per-traveller ratio than ought to legally be allowed.
